• Posted by: Ina - 6 May 2012 - Captures of the 1st Fringe finale episode “Brave New World” have been added to the gallery. I really enjoyed watching this episode – all these Olivia and Peter scenes were really amazing and not to forget Olivia’s powers!

Hi, everyone! Ina here. I took the site back and will maintain it from now on together with my friend Annika. Trying to catch up on all the latest, we’re currently working behind the scenes to get everything up to date. To start off the news: Fringe got renewed! I’m really happy that we fans get to see another season! You can watch the season 5 teaser trailer below:
Fringe lives!
Fox has renewed the fan favorite for a fifth and final season.
As we’ve been predicting for a few weeks, Fox has ordered 13 concluding episodes of Fringedespite the show’s ratings being super modest on Friday nights. Though producers were optimistic about a pickup, they reportedly shot two endings of the upcoming fourth season finale just in case a deal didn’t come through. Fox has even released a season five teaser trailer (above).
Fringe averaged a mere 4 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the adult demo, including DVR. Compare that to a first-year show that Fox cancelled — Terra Nova — which averaged 10.1 million viewers and a 3.6 adult demo rating. Likewise another Fox first-year series, Alcatraz, which like Fringe is also produced by J.J. Abrams, performed better than the Friday night show, yet is considered unlikely to receive a second year.

FOX will bench its Friday drama “Fringe” for the first three weeks of March, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.
Additional repeats of “Kitchen Nightmares” will fill the show’s Friday, 9:00/8:00c time period during said stretch. “Fringe” will then return on March 23 with originals for the rest of the season.
